Background

Bread & Butter Marketing was founded by Lucy Johnston when she left Google in September 2010 after over 6 years as a very happy employee. While at Google she built and led online sales teams supporting businesses and agencies using the Google suite of marketing products. Working principally on Google AdWords, YouTube, Google Analytics and Google Website Optimiser, her Google experience has given her the best possible training in these products, as well as a deep understanding of internet marketing as a whole. 

 

 

What do we do?

Lucy founded Bread & Butter Marketing to provide online marketing advice, training and implementation to businesses and the charity sector that want to develop and improve their online strategy. Our services include search engine marketing, social networking and video advertising, and we specialise in integrating all of these into one full package, tailored to each business.

 

Why Bread & Butter?

As the name suggests, we're trying to do something a little different to most online marketing companies. Many others out there have a vested interest in ensuring online marketing appears as complicated as possible. Bread & Butter Marketing's business model is to help our customers to help themselves to earn their bread and butter through online marketing. We're not threatened by the idea of our customers becoming more knowledgeable as we know online marketing is expanding and changing so rapidly, there's always going to be something that we can help a customer with, even if they're already complete experts. We're a small firm, with just 1 full time and 1 part time employee so far, but we think we pack a bigger punch than some much bigger outfits. We pride ourselves in providing best in class consultancy to every customer, and in keeping absolutely at the forefront of online marketing through training and making use of all the online marketing tools ourselves.

 

Ethical
